I believe children’s lives will change in dramatic ways because of the internet. I will explain.

Firstly, children will play interesting computer games and create programs themselves to enjoy their spare time. Using the internet not only enables children to entertain themselves, but also encourages them to exchange information and opinions with their friends.

Secondly, children will be more knowledgeable by attending online public lessons. Nowadays more and more public classes regarding the sciences and language skills can be viewed on the internet, which was impossible in the past. This not only saves children’s energy and money, but also gives them more flexibility to do other activities.

On the other hand, excessively using the internet will impact on children’s early development. It may lead them to have less personal contact with their friends.

So, In general, I feel the internet will change children’s lives in positive ways, but at the same time schools and parents should encourage children to carry out more social activities.
