Also, governments should raise the minimum wage and decrease income tax of the working poor. Governments have a responsibility to minimize the gap between rich and poor.

Secondly, Increasing the standard of living for the working poor will boost the economy. The number of working poor has been on the rise in recent years, so strengthening their earning power helps promote consumption. Local communities should organize more vocational courses to educate the needy in practical skills such as cooking, sewing and accounting for free in order to enhance earning abilities in the real world.

For the reasons just mentioned, I think more should be done to assist and sustain the working poor.
