With the world facing so many serious environmental issues today, I feel something must be done to make people more environmentally conscious.

Firstly, I believe raising people’s awareness is most important. Both public and private sectors should do their best to spread the importance of nature conservation. It plays a crucial role in warning people about the issues such as global warming and the air pollution we face. The more aware we are, the more likely we will protect the environment.

Secondly, Reward should be given to people who protect the environment and punish those who damage it. For example, People who use electric cars and public transportation and companies that are developing clean and safe renewables should be given tax breaks. However, punishments must be administered to polluters, litterbugs and others who harm the environment.

We all share planet Earth, so it is important for us to become more environmentally conscious.
