I firmly believe that the internet should be censored. I have a few reasons to support my view point.

Firstly, It can prevent children and vulnerable individuals from viewing harmful reading materials. Nowadays Some websites are full of violent and obscene scenes which negatively affect people’s emotional health. Images of violence and indecent sexual acts may result in harmful behavior.

Secondly, censoring the content of the internet can block extreme and racist expression and opinions. There are offensive and radical remarks deliberately created by some extremists and racist organizations on social networking sites. These comments create an atmosphere of racial tension and intolerance that lead people to mistrust and fear one another.

For the reasons just stated, I maintain that the internet should be censored.
