Yes, I believe that the internet should be censored. I have a few reasons to support my opinion.

Firstly, It will protect children from viewing inappropriate material on the internet. These days There is so much violence and obscenity on undesirable websites, which adversely affect children’s mental health. It must be harmful for children to be exposed to computer games and movies where people are hurt or killed just for fun. Images of violence and obscenity will lead to juvenile delinquency.

Secondly, It will prevent people from being influenced by extreme and racist opinions on the internet. Some extremists and racist organizations deliberately publish radical comments to create an atmosphere of racial conflict(tension) and intolerance that leads people to mistrust and fear one another. This will give rise to social unrest.

In conclusion, I maintain that the internet should be censored.
