I agree that space exploration should be continued. I have a few reasons to support my opinion.

Finally, space exploration symbolizes the scientific power of the nation. For example, when American astronauts were successfully sent to the moon and placed an American flag on the lunar surface for the first time in human’s history, it evidenced that its astronautic science had reached a new level.

Firstly, space exploration may lead to the discovery of another planet to live on. Due to overpopulation and exhausting natural resources, living on earth is becoming more and more uncomfortable. If Scientists keep on researching the universe, one day in the future humans may colonize another planet in order to escape from the packed living conditions and aggravated environmental pollution on earth.

Secondly, it will be beneficial to people’s lives. Actually we have been enjoying a variety of TV programs, accurate weather forecasts and global positioning system through advanced satellites. These are the achievements of space exploration.

Although it is a tough task to explore the universe, for the reasons just stated, I believe space exploration should be continued.
