Firstly, it is beneficial to the economy. Thanks to urbanization, a lot of people have moved to urban areas, which provides plenty of the workforce to factories and offices. This tremendous working population becomes the backbone of Japan’s economy.

Moreover, urbanization brings great convenience to people. There are a lot of big supermarkets, good educational institutions and hospitals, together with excellent transportation in urban areas. People can easily use these facilities and public services whenever they need.

Finally, Thanks to tree planting campaigns, there are more and more plants dotted around urban areas. So people can take(breathe) in the fresh air and appreciate the pleasant surroundings, which in turn contributes to their overall health.

For the above-mentioned reasons, I hold that urbanization has a positive impact on Japanese society.
