More recently although the government provides the unemployed with some aid, I believe more should be done as poverty still remains a serious problem and quite a few people lack sufficient(adequate) professional skills to find a job.

First, the government should create more chances of job training for the unemployed. For example, Organizing vocational skills classes may be a good way to teach people how to sew or how to make sweets. By learning such kinds of practical skills, unemployed people can acquire specialist knowledge, thus helping them find a job more easily than before.

Second, providing financial support contributes to reducing poverty. Unemployed people have no money to live independently and so may leave their families in poverty. As a result, they are apt to commit crimes, such as thefts and burglaries. So poverty leads to social and political unrest. I maintain that it is the responsibility of the government to rescue and subsidize these people with substantial support.

Hence, I feel the Government have to carry out more effective financial measures such as extending the duration of unemployment payments for the needy and providing people in need with cheaper medical treatment and job training opportunities in order for them to sustain their living.
