I believe that women’s participation in society contributes to economic development for the following reasons.

Firstly, It will be conducive to companies’ growth.Nowadays a lot of women receive higher education and they are as competent as men. Women are quite good at handling ticklish problems such as customer complaints and price negotiation, so if these skills are well applied I believe it will be beneficial for the goals of companies.

Secondly, women’s social advancement helps to stimulate consumption. Since more and more women have an independent income, in their spare time they can more enjoy pastimes such as going to beauty saloons, restraurants and buying fashionable clothing, which in turn boosts these industries.

While antiquated attitudes to women still exist in society, which hinders(impedes) women’s social advancement, for the above-mentioned reasons, I am confident that more women will go outside their homes and apply the knowledge and intelligence to their careers and this will obviously revitalize the economy.
