課題:Do the benefits of designation as a World Heritage Site outweigh the disadvantages?

以下がサンプル例文です。

Although becoming a World Heritage Site may have some negative effects such as littering the street and defacement of historical sites, I believe that the benefits outweigh the disadvantages.

Firstly, the biggest advantage is having publicity which can attract(draw) tourists from around(all over) the world. It will bring a great economic benefits to local communities. Maybe more tourists mean more damage to the environment, but for me I feel thanks to the revenue from tourism, local governments are able to get enough money to more effectively protect and preserve natural and cultural sites.

Secondly, becoming a World Heritage Site helps protect important natural and cultural sites from neglect or damage. In some cases being chosen leads to the release of conservation funds. Moreover, the sites on the list are protected against attack in wartime.

Finally, for me, I believe sharing our heritage and culture promotes understanding. The World heritage Sites symbolize an important part of any country’s traditions. People from abroad can broaden their horizons through appreciating these outstanding natural and cultural sites.

For the reasons just mentioned, I hold that the benefits of being listed as a World Heritage Site outweigh the disadvantages.
