課題:Agree or disagree: World poverty can be eliminated.

以下がサンプル例文です。

While unequal wealth distribution and monopolization worsen(deteriorate) world poverty, if more efforts can be made in strengthening the technology of farming practices and eradicating political corruption, I am confident that world poverty will be eliminated in the future.

The technology of agriculture has been developed dramatically over recent decades. For example, nowadays genetic modified engineering is widely adopted in growing various crops and has been proved safe to people’s health by scientists. It enables to increase the productivity a great deal as employing this technology makes crops more pest and disease resistant, which effectively mitigates food shortages in many developing nations. Also, carrying out scientific irrigation and desalting the soil are conductive to improve the efficiency of food production.

Furthermore, I consider getting rid of political corruption is essential to resolve the poverty issue. I heard a lot of food items from the UN did not reach the dwellers of some poverty-stricken nations, because politicians in these countries blocked the aid and sold it to make money. If oversight for such corruption and punishment measures can be set up and enforced, I firmly believe quite a few illegal activities will be deterred( curbed) and consequently more and more people in need are able to receive the aid.

Finally, NPOs and advanced countries often subsidize grants and food items to poor countries. Also some volunteer technological and medical teams from NGOs often go to the nations in need to help address the public hygiene(sanitation),medical treatments and food shortages.

Although world poverty still remains a serious issue, It seems to me(In my opinion) the problem can be settled eventualy,if we manage to deal with(handle/tackle) it with the above-mentioned efforts.
