The world population had reached 7 billion in 2011 and the UN predicts that the number will hit 9.7 billion by 2050. We have to feed the whole population. For these purposes/ for these reasons we need the factory farming and I’ll tell you why.

Firstly, the factory farming is a very efficient way to produce foods. It enables us to produce meat or paltry within short time and in restricted areas. It does not require manual labor all the time like conventional outdoor farming requires because it utilizes machines and robots for feeding and cleaning.

Secondly, it does not affect the environment because most of the factory farmings are equipped with waste water treatment system and their wastes are collected properly by a garbage collector. As you know the government has put strict regulations on all industrial fields of factories.

Finally, it’s very robust against livestock epidemics because the factory farmings are mainly located inside buildings and the buildings are well sealed from the outside for blocking harmful bacterias.

Within a short time, we will be able to build more efficient factory farming systems. The anxiety of food crisis will be a bygone days story/ a thing of the past.
