On the whole, I think Globalization has a positive effect on today’s world. There are a few reasons emerging from my mind.
Firstly, thanks to Globalization, tariffs have been reduced greatly than before, thus imported goods of high quality being provided much more cheaply. Not only it is beneficial for consumers, but encourages manufacturers to produce more cost-effective commodities. Furthermore, Globalization contributes to the distribution of commodities which helps boosting the worldwide economy. It effectively prevents monopoly capitalism that seriously led to disparity in the past time.
Secondly, Globalization also means having more communication of art and culture. In the past, people almost never enjoyed the arts outside their homeland. At that time, Such items as works of art were limitedly imported and they could not go abroad easily. With the opening of market, people are feeling the cultural diversity and communicating the experience with each other.
Finally, Globalization contributes to strengthening the solidarity among the countries. Each nation depends on economically each other, which creates a new win-win rapport relationship. If any nation tends to break this community, It will be definitely rejected thus resulting in suffering a heavy loss.
Based on above-mentioned reasons, I firmly believe that Globalization is a positive force in today’s world.
